- Advanced degree (MSc) in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or related field
- 5+ years aerospace industry experience, preferably in launch system program
- Experience in early development phase propulsion system engineering
- Good programming knowledge (Python, Fortran, Matlab...)
- Experience with EcosimPro or comparable analysis tools
- Hands-on operational experience in propulsion testing or launch
- Fluent English; German, French, and Italian are an asset
- Strong oral and written communication skills

Aufgaben
- Conceptualize new launch and space transportation solutions
- Mature critical propulsion technologies
- Drive projects towards implementation
- Define propulsion system architectures for future projects
- Perform trade-offs and technical investigations
- Define system-level requirements
- Ensure flow down of lower-level requirements
- Ensure consistency of lower-level requirements
- Define concept of operations for propulsion systems
- Define operational procedures for propulsion systems
- Define functional breakdown of the system
- Define product breakdown of the system
- Maintain technical budgets (mass, propellant, inert gas, power, etc.)
- Contribute to development plans
- Contribute to V&V plans
- Contribute to industrialization plans
- Contribute to MAIT concept trade-offs
- Coordinate co-engineering sessions with external partners
- Own propulsion-specific future projects
- Own propulsion-specific work packages
- Own propulsion-specific bids
- Support proposal writing for future projects
- Support proposal negotiation for future projects
- Provide propulsion system related project work
- Coordinate datapack definition
- Coordinate datapack delivery
- Manage RIDs
- Manage day-to-day work with subcontractors
