- Manage multi-partner R&D projects
- Steer technical work packages and coordinate lab activities

- Self-directed, structured operation in startup environment
- Preferred: Experience with LIDT testing or optical lifetime/reliability characterization
- Preferred: Knowledge of advanced/emerging optical coating technologies
- Preferred: Experience with external optics suppliers or photonics research institutes
- Preferred: German and/or French language proficiency
Aufgaben
- Lead multiple R&D programs end-to-end
- Scope, schedule, budget, and manage risks and deliverables
- Drive milestone gates and go/no-go decisions
- Manage a multi-vendor portfolio of optics and crystal suppliers
- Maintain confidentiality between suppliers
- Work with architects and physicists to define test campaigns
- Ensure test campaigns are properly scoped, resourced, and scheduled
- Supervise and mentor laser engineers and technicians
- Ensure data quality, protocol compliance, and timely delivery
- Consolidate experimental results and vendor deliverables
- Provide clear recommendations to leadership
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders
