- Design scientific protocols and procedures
- Review scientific protocols and procedures
- Recommend changes to scientific protocols and procedures
- Analyze experimental data
- Propose next experiment designs
- Present results at team and project meetings
- Perform troubleshooting activities
- Write scientific reports
- Author external publications
- Prepare SOPs and working procedures
- Support preparation of registration documents
- Evaluate new scientific technologies and procedures
- Collaborate with scientists for knowledge exchange
- Train and coach peers
- Supervise local team members
- Maintain laboratory infrastructure
- Ensure an organized, clean, and safe lab environment
- Schedule and perform equipment maintenance
- Evaluate new laboratory equipment
- Oversee work of external partners
- Evaluate results from external partners
- Define next steps for external projects
