In this internship, you will focus on developing measurement approaches for plastic materials, executing simulations, and validating fatigue calculations. Your work will involve documenting processes and enhancing team knowledge to ensure robust analysis and confidence in results.

Anforderungen

• •Enrollment in a master's program in Computational Engineering, Engineering Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field
• •Experience in vibration simulation and fatigue calculations, ideally using ABAQUS and HyperWorks
• •Good programming skills in Python and confidence in the Linux environment
• •Independence and creativity in a German- and English-speaking team

Aufgaben

• •Develop a measuring approach for determining S-N of plastic materials
• •Vary parameters like mean stress to convert one curve to another
• •Execute FEA simulations and fatigue calculations to validate parameters at single components
• •Determine correlation levels and suggest measures to increase them
• •Execute FEA simulations and fatigue calculations on system level to verify confidence levels
• •Document every step of the implementation and ensure knowledge transfer to the team
