Internship - R&D CMOS Integration(m/w/x)
Supporting HfO₂ ferroelectric memory device integration into 22FDX® CMOS flows. Foundational semiconductor physics and MOSFET knowledge required. On-site gym and cafeteria access.
Anforderungen
- Required qualification
- Passion for semiconductor physics, microelectronics, embedded systems, AI-based engineering workflows, and real-world device development
- Enrollment in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Semiconductor Devices, Computer Engineering, or similar
- Foundational knowledge in semiconductors, MOSFET physics, microelectronics, digital design, and embedded systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and thrive in research-focused environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1)
- Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Python, C, Arduino/ESP32, or parallel programming environments
- Familiarity with MATLAB, YOLO, SCADA/PLC systems, mission-planning software, AutoCAD, or Raspberry Pi
- Demonstrated hands-on experience through technical projects
- Intensive use and understanding of modern AI tools
- Demonstration of team-skill in technological project execution
- Semiconductor device-related course projects (e.g., MOSCAP/MOSFET, digital logic, FPGA basics)
Aufgaben
- Support experimental development of HfO₂-based ferroelectric memory devices
- Assist in material- and device-level characterization
- Process and analyze electrical, thermal, and reliability datasets
- Evaluate integration pathways into 22FDX® FDSOI CMOS flows
- Assist in developing AI/ML approaches for device variability analysis
- Assist in developing AI/ML approaches for defect classification
- Assist in developing AI/ML approaches for predictive modeling
- Train lightweight neural models for semiconductor data
- Research AI-assisted pattern recognition
- Research automated data labeling
- Support feasibility assessments of quantum-relevant device structures in FDSOI
- Review literature on qubit architectures
- Review literature on cryogenic electronics
- Review literature on ferroelectric quantum materials
- Contribute to simulation or modeling tasks
- Prepare technical documentation
- Prepare experiment reports
- Prepare presentations
- Participate in cross-functional meetings
