- Several years of professional experience in occupational safety, ideally in industrial or highly regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of occupational safety regulations, HSE, compliance, and quality requirements
- Experience with risk assessments, audits, inspections, explosion protection, and fire protection
- Leadership experience and pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
- Strong team spirit and excellent stakeholder management skills
- Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)
Aufgaben
- Shape occupational safety at a complex production site
- Drive sustainable HSE performance
- Take responsibility for occupational safety at Supply Center Leverkusen
- Advise site and EMEX leadership on HSE standards
- Develop and strengthen prevention, safety leadership, and compliance
- Own the site-wide HSE framework
- Continuously improve occupational safety
- Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and internal standards
- Implement and improve the occupational safety management system
- Participate in HSE boards
- Steer improvements using PDCA principles
- Lead risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Interface with authorities and internal networks
- Manage occupational safety and health employees
- Develop and coach your team
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
- Embed HSE principles into transformation initiatives
- Represent the site in global communities
