- HSE/PSM field experience
- Process Hazard Reviews and chemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
- Strong knowledge of environmental and occupational safety regulations
- Technical writing experience (procedures, program documentation)
- Authorization to work in Germany required
- Desirable qualifications in waste management, fire protection, explosion protection, machine safety, hazardous materials management, management systems (14001/45001/50001)
- Bilingual German/English is an advantage
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Structured, analytical working style with compliance mindset and sound judgment
- Experience interfacing with regulatory authorities
- Self-starter with strategic thinking and excellent troubleshooting skills
- Tasks require access to manufacturing and laboratory areas using appropriate PPE
Aufgaben
- Provide technical leadership in HSE programs
- Serve as primary HSE contact for assigned areas
- Support operational areas in regulatory compliance
- Lead cross-functional teams in HSE program implementation
- Facilitate Process Hazard Reviews
- Support Process Safety Management
- Assist in facility and equipment design evaluation
- Conduct periodic inspections and internal audits
- Coordinate regulatory reporting obligations
- Lead incident investigations
- Evaluate and approve Change Controls and HSE events
- Conduct trend analyses
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Develop continuous improvement plans
- Coach and mentor HSE staff
- Identify best practices and simplification opportunities
