- Technical degree (e.g., engineering, safety engineering, or comparable)
- Qualification as occupational safety specialist (ASiG / DGUV Regulation 2)
- Very good knowledge of occupational health and safety law
- Knowledge of corporate environmental protection, immission control law (BImSchG), or environmental management (ISO 14001) desirable
- Experience working with authorities and external audit partners
- Strategic thinking, strong advisory skills, and confident presence
- Structured, solution-oriented working with high initiative
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills

- Advise senior leadership on health and safety matters
- Develop and implement site-wide health and safety strategy
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety laws
- Manage and improve the occupational health and safety system
- Conduct strategic risk analyses
- Derive preventive action programs
- Assess new technologies and processes for safety
- Lead accident investigations and root cause analysis
- Develop and implement corrective actions
- Enhance safety culture through communication and training
- Lead or participate in the Occupational Safety Committee
- Represent the company with authorities and inspection bodies
- Support internal and external audits
