- Validate new and existing devices
- Coordinate application-specific support for Sales, R&D, and Service
- Provide technical and managerial leadership to 6-member team
- Coordinate all activities in application laboratory
- Participate in innovation process
- Drive further development of products
- Collaborate with Product Management on application portfolios
- Serve as point of contact for application support and customer inquiries
- Advise on applications and measurements using products
- Coordinate customer sample measurements, validations, and software tests
- Handle editorial work, publications, and sales team training
- Participate in development projects from customer perspective
- Serve on national and international standards committees
- Oversee participation in interlaboratory tests
