Aufgaben
- Lead financial control for Germany and Austria
- Manage and develop a team of direct reports
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and legislation
- Support the CE COO and Managing Partner
- Oversee timely month-end and year-end closing
- Review ledgers for complete and accurate postings
- Provide financial reporting and analysis for stakeholders
- Review balance sheet reconciliations regularly
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
- Remediate control and audit findings
- Ensure accurate local GAAP accounting
- Oversee annual budget and overhead preparation
- Manage full-year re-forecasts for Global Finance
- Review partner drawings and distribution payments
- Conduct finance inductions for new partners
- Liaise with tax teams on partner returns
- Support partners with tax audit queries
- Manage relationships with local banks
- Approve bank payments and expenses
- Review cash flow and liquidity forecasts
- Coordinate funding needs with Global Treasury
- Review monthly payroll and VAT returns
- Liaise with advisors on corporate tax
- Monitor cost and expense policy implementation
- Design and maintain effective finance controls
- File statutory and statistical returns
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives
- Act as subject matter expert for strategic projects
- Manage insurance renewals and administrative tasks
- Negotiate supplier contracts and manage premises issues
