Hardware Engineer /Expert and HW Architect(m/w/x)

Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in HW development, verification, and industrialization of In-vehicle Infotainment systems, telematics/connectivity systems, or automotive ECUs
• Knowledge and experience in RF design and wireless technologies (mobile/network, V2X, WIFI, BT) and/or telematics features
• Knowledge of tools for schematic/layout realization and simulation (e.g. Mentor Graphics, SPICE) and Microsoft applications
• Structured and target-oriented working style in an international team environment
• Experience in requirements management (e.g. DOORS, DNG, ALM) beneficial
• Structured and result-oriented working style
• Ability to work in teams with internal/external teams
• Good knowledge in spoken and written English
• Knowledge in spoken and written German
• Experience in ASIL / ISO 26262 compliant hardware designs
• Willingness to travel within Germany & internationally on demand (around 10-25%)

Aufgaben

• Engineer audio systems and integrated technology platforms
• Conduct in-depth research and collaborate with design teams
• Advance in-vehicle infotainment and safety features
• Assess requirements and feasibility for telematics functions
• Define suitable concepts for connectivity systems
• Implement and verify analog, digital, and RF circuits
• Analyze and evaluate customer requirements and OEM specifications
• Prepare technical specifications and documentation for telematics products
• Assist in the selection of suppliers for telematics components
• Act as a technical interface between suppliers and customers
• Support the definition of the technology roadmap
• Introduce RF requirements for wireless technologies
• Collaborate globally with departments during the development process
