- Experience with Cloud platforms such as Kubernetes
- Infrastructure design and integration expertise
- Experience with RedHat and RedHat OpenShift is a plus
- Interest and ability to quickly familiarize with new technologies
- Experience working on classified projects (an advantage)
- Experience in managing technical stakeholders (an advantage)
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Team-oriented work style
- Fluent in German and English
- French language skills (a plus)
Aufgaben
- Define and design satellite ground systems using modern methods like Scrum and Model-Based Systems Engineering
- Analyze requirements and define architecture for ground segments related to satellite monitoring and control
- Evaluate design trade-offs and manage interfaces, creating interface documents (ICD)
- Specify hardware and software elements along with redundancy concepts
- Estimate costs for ground segment development and operation
- Support system development, including assembly, integration, and verification (AIV)
- Contribute to proposals, studies, and research and development activities
- Manage the technical procurement of software components
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in Space Segment Engineering, Performance Engineering, and Operations Engineering
