Anforderungen
- Technical education in mechanical or electrical engineering or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in quality management/assurance, ideally in metalworking and supplier collaboration
- Sound knowledge of QM methods and tools; advantageous training as quality system manager/lead auditor
- Very good English skills (spoken and written)
- Confident use of SAP and MS Office
- Strong intercultural and communication skills
- High assertiveness
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
Aufgaben
- Ensure quality objectives for supplier delivery performance
- Select and approve suppliers according to PALFINGER standards
- Conduct process capability assessments and quality assurance agreements
- Define and monitor quality requirements and inspection plans
- Coordinate systematic process improvements at suppliers
- Perform on-site visits and audits per EN ISO 9001
- Support prototype, pre-series, and initial sample processes
- Plan and evaluate processes with R&D and Engineering
- Lead complaint and warranty handling with external suppliers
- Analyse root causes and define corrective actions
- Drive sustainable reduction of quality costs
- Monitor and report key quality KPIs
- Initiate targeted improvement programs with suppliers
- Continuously improve delivery quality
- Reduce quality-related costs from complaints and warranties
- Support prototype and initial sample inspections
- Conduct test processes and product audits
