Anforderungen
- University degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; CMA or CPA certifications advantageous
- At least 10 years of work experience in financial process management and optimization, with strong focus on Asset- and Project Accounting activities in a multinational corporation
- Experience in chemicals industry or related industry, particularly during transitions or carve-outs, highly beneficial
- Strong understanding of accounting processes and process optimization methodologies
- Proficiency in SAP R/3 and S/4, process mapping tools, and advanced MS Office skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English required
Aufgaben
- Own global B2R and Asset- and Project Accounting processes
- Manage project accounting lifecycle from initial financial evaluation to project closure
- Ensure asset accounting processes and lease accounting according to IFRS 16
- Establish and maintain global standards for B2R and Asset- and Project Accounting
- Align processes with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
- Oversee asset and project accounting activities
- Identify and drive process improvement opportunities
- Leverage technology and digital solutions for automation and efficiency
- Manage third-party business process provider for Asset- and Project Accounting
- Implement process performance KPIs to steer service provider
- Collaborate with project engineering, Purchase-to-Pay, and General Ledger Accounting
- Coordinate integration efforts and ensure holistic alignment of accounting processes
- Engage with internal stakeholders to meet business needs and support strategic objectives
