Aufgaben
- Manage systems and processes for customs tariffs, import/export classifications, and compliance
- Manage Denied Party Screening using SAP GTS
- Determine and manage preferential status of products
- Manage other trade compliance regulations and agreements for imports and exports
- Monitor and audit EMEA trade compliance procedures
- Enhance trade compliance procedures for common documentation and processing standards
- Develop and improve logistics processes in trade compliance
- Minimize total cost of ownership for trade compliance
- Act as a point of contact for trade compliance questions and issues
- Liaise with trade compliance colleagues in other regions
- Support business units with timely resolutions for trade compliance issues
- Monitor changes in trade compliance legislation
- Liaise with Product Stewardship Function on legislative changes
- Validate and communicate legislative changes throughout the organization
- Support handling of special procedures like returned or temporary exports
- Act as a knowledge carrier for trade compliance matters
- Provide guidance and training on trade compliance to other functions
- Set up import and transit shipment procedures
- Coordinate customs clearance with forwarders, agents, customers, and sales
- Clarify problems related to import and transit shipments
- Determine and monitor preferential status of manufactured and sold products
- Process and organize LTSDs for products
- Provide LTSDs to customers
- Process export Intrastat Declarations
- Process import Intrastat Declarations with Finance
- Act as the logistics contact for customs authorities
- Manage audits related to customs and trade compliance
- Be responsible for export declarations and proof linked to VAT and customs regulations
- Organize and coordinate domestic and international shipments
- Book freight capacity
- Schedule transportation via EDI and carrier platforms
- Confirm dispatch and delivery dates with carriers
- Provide timely updates on shipment status and disruptions
- Liaise with Planning, Customer Service, and logistics service providers
- Ensure efficient order execution
- Prevent delays, conflicts, or service issues
- Prepare, review, and coordinate export documentation
- Prepare, review, and coordinate shipping paperwork
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and international trade regulations
