Preparing statutory financial statements and managing local electronic interfaces for a global biotherapeutics leader. Professional certification and 3+ years of financial reporting experience required. Daily SAP system use, 8-hour shifts.

Anforderungen

  • Professional certification in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 3+ years relevant experience in controlling, financial reporting, or audit
  • Strong experience in financial statement preparation and ownership
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with financial systems such as SAP
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and solve complex issues
  • Effective decision-making and prioritization skills
  • Results-driven with a proactive approach
  • Sound judgement and ability to escalate within governance frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and cross-functional collaboration within Finance

Aufgaben

  • Coordinate assigned accounting and close activities
  • Prepare standard journals and perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review business journals and escalate non-standard items
  • Manage local electronic interfaces and invoice flows
  • Resolve issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Drive internal financial controls framework implementation
  • Support internal audits and timely remediation actions
  • Coordinate external audits and provide documentation
  • Track audit requests and escalate key issues
  • Apply technical accounting expertise for reporting and close activities
  • Ensure appropriate judgment and escalation when needed
  • Execute month-end close activities and ERP reconciliations
  • Conduct variance analysis and flag risks and delays
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and tax laws
  • Collaborate with AP, Tax, and Treasury teams for compliance
  • Identify and recommend process improvements and control enhancements
  • Support balance sheet planning with FP&A and business partners
  • Submit data to group consolidation systems
