- 4+ years financial accounting experience, general ledger focus, monthly/annual closing, AP support
- Financial Accountant (IHK) or Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) certification or clear intention to obtain
- Experience supporting/preparing financial statements under HGB and ideally IFRS
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, provisions, accruals, basic tax
- Confident SAP user, ideally S/4HANA
- Structured, analytical, hands-on, reliable, solution-oriented working style
- Interest in dynamic environment, flat hierarchies, high ownership
- Good English skills, written and spoken; German skills strong advantage
Aufgaben
- Manage operational and closing-related accounting activities
- Support Accounts Payable as needed
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger and sub-ledger accounts
- Analyze and ensure accuracy of ledger accounts
- Handle provisions, accruals, and closing entries
- Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
- Perform balance sheet and P&L analyses
- Prepare meaningful financial comments
- Contribute to high-quality financial reporting
- Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes
- Enhance internal controls
- Support automation initiatives
- Participate in cross-functional process optimization
- Contribute to SAP-related improvements
- Collaborate with Treasury and Controlling
- Support internal stakeholders on finance matters
- Prepare consolidated financial statements
- Contribute to group reporting activities
- Act as a point of contact for auditors and tax advisors
- Support financial reviews
