Anforderungen
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent experience
- Experience in software engineering, data analytics, or business intelligence
- Experience designing Looker Hub-and-Spoke architectures
- High proficiency in SQL and query optimization
- Understanding of dimensional modeling and Semantic Layers
- Experience with Looker permissions and API
- Ability to communicate technical architectures to stakeholders
- Team-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven mindset
- Excellent English and basic German skills
- Agile mindset and cross-functional teamwork experience
Aufgaben
- Develop and maintain the LookML Hub project
- Use extends and refinements for scalable interfaces
- Govern the central LookML Hub architecture
- Define core dimensions, measures, and base views
- Provide architectural guidance for BigQuery data structures
- Design and improve intuitive Explore environments
- Enable stakeholder self-service and independent data access
- Apply Liquid parameters, PDTs, and NDTs
- Integrate APIs for complex analytical requirements
- Define LookML coding and modularization standards
- Manage version control using Git
- Implement automated testing frameworks
- Align BigQuery schemas with Looker requirements
- Support analysts with spoke-specific implementations
- Act as the primary Looker subject matter expert
- Advise users on scalable reporting solutions
