Environmental Permitting Specialist(m/w/x)

Beschreibung

In this role, you will collaborate with the Sustainability team to manage environmental permitting and coordinate land rehabilitation efforts. You will actively engage with local stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives and improve public perception.

Anforderungen

• •Bachelor’s degree in environmental management, geography, mining, administrative law, or comparable field
• •Initial professional experience in sustainability, environmental protection, or permitting
• •Interest and willingness to develop expertise in environmental and nature conservation law, mining law, and permitting procedures
• •Basic knowledge of GIS and reporting systems
• •Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)
• •Structured, organised, and analytical way of working
• •High level of commitment, flexibility, teamwork, and willingness to travel
• •Strong communication and negotiation skills

Aufgaben

• •Support and implement environmental authorization procedures
• •Coordinate recultivation and land rehabilitation projects
• •Manage land and asset administration
• •Implement corporate sustainability guidelines and strategies
• •Engage with local communities and authorities on environmental issues
• •Develop initiatives to enhance the company's public perception
• •Provide input for global programs and KPIs
