Aufgaben
- Lead, grow, and support a distributed squad of platform engineers
- Manage hiring, development, and performance for the team
- Build and maintain an engineering roadmap spanning one to two quarters
- Make explicit trade-offs between features, timelines, and quality
- Drive core platform commitments: expand into a highly available platform with failover
- Increase adoption of our container platform and multi-region deployments
- Reduce infrastructure cost through networking and compute optimisation
- Own the squad's operational metrics and be accountable for moving them
- Facilitate and role-model postmortems
- Drive the follow-through on action items from postmortems
- Manage relationships with key infrastructure vendors
- Work with Security on audit and compliance requirements
- Partner with Observability, Release Engineering, and Security squads
- Foster an inclusive and open working environment
- Create documentation and knowledge sharing to reduce single-person dependency
