As an Engineering Lead, you will take ownership of the platform architecture, guiding your team to deliver high-quality features while balancing speed and reliability. This role involves coding, mentoring engineers, and collaborating closely with Product to drive continuous improvement and align technical decisions with business goals.

Anforderungen

  • •8-12 years in software engineering
  • •Experience leading or mentoring technical teams
  • •Strong skills in TypeScript, Node.js, and React
  • •Solid understanding of backend technologies: Express.js, TypeORM, and PostgreSQL
  • •Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
  • •Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • •Experience with monitoring/observability tools
  • •Pragmatic mindset valuing technical simplicity and business impact
  • •Comfortable in a lean, fast-moving setup
  • •Skilled at balancing hands-on development with guiding engineering direction
  • •Excellent communicator in English

Aufgaben

  • •Own marta’s platform architecture end-to-end
  • •Guide architectural decisions for high-quality feature delivery
  • •Drive pragmatic improvements like monorepo consolidation
  • •Ensure test discipline and CI/CD standards
  • •Monitor system performance and conduct load-testing
  • •Code daily by designing, implementing, and reviewing features
  • •Partner with Product to define sprint goals and ensure clarity
  • •Review pull requests and maintain technical documentation
  • •Track key engineering KPIs and drive continuous improvement
  • •Lead a small team of full-stack and product engineers
  • •Provide technical guidance and unblock teammates
  • •Build psychological safety and trust within the team
  • •Collaborate with founders to align tech decisions with business goals
  • •Embed AI-powered capabilities in workflows and products
  • •Evaluate modern tooling to enhance development speed
  • •Ensure system security and compliance with GDPR
  • •Formalize disaster recovery procedures
  • •Foster a culture of reliability with proactive monitoring
