- Select and evaluate measurement and testing methods
- Develop measurement and testing methods
- Plan and execute measurements for quality assurance
- Specify and procure test equipment and sensors
- Commission test equipment and fixtures
- Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions
- Create and improve test concepts and methods
- Develop work and safety instructions
- Prepare measurement and test plans
- Define test characteristics and frequencies
- Document measurement and test results
- Perform special measurements and tests
- Conduct first article inspections
- Analyze root causes of issues
- Define and analyze tolerances
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing on tolerances
- Define requirements for tools and fixtures
