- Advanced knowledge of real-time software design, integration, validation, verification
- Profound C programming skills
- Excellent knowledge in signal processing and software algorithm implementation
- Good knowledge of hardware driver and modern communication protocol implementation
- Acquaintance with software engineering standards (incl. ECSS), methods, processes, tools
- Very good collaboration and know-how sharing ability
- Ability to present and justify design solutions
- Experience with agile mindset and way of working
- Application software know-how in IP and/or TSN
- Experience with RTOS and multi-core SoC software

- Provide software engineering expertise for payload solutions
- Define requirements for satellite on-board software
- Design satellite on-board software

- Validate satellite on-board software
- Document satellite on-board software
- Develop cutting-edge on-board software for space instruments
- Develop real-time embedded software for signal processing
- Develop real-time embedded software for communication tasks
- Develop real-time embedded software for housekeeping tasks
- Collaborate within an agile development team
- Apply software design, development, validation, and verification processes
- Code software modules
- Inspect code written by other engineers
- Write technical software documents
- Configure work items in a version control system
- Design, implement, and execute software unit, integration, and validation tests
- Collaborate with system, FPGA, and hardware teams to develop modular solutions
- Participate in meetings with customers and subcontractors
