Enterprise-wide IT strategy and digital transformation leadership for global organization. 15+ years senior executive experience required. Field and HQ assignments expected.

Anforderungen

  • Expectation to take up different assignments (field and Headquarters)
  • Previous field experience desirable
  • Advanced university degree in information management, IT, computer science, digital transformation, data science, or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in information management, IT, computer science, digital transformation, data science, or related field with additional two years of experience
  • At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in information, digital or technology leadership roles, including international and senior executive level
  • Demonstrated experience leading large, complex information or technology functions in international, public sector or complex organizational environment
  • Proven track record in digital transformation, enterprise systems, data and analytics, and technology enabled organizational change
  • Experience managing significant budgets, large multidisciplinary teams and complex vendor ecosystems
  • Demonstrated experience establishing, scaling and managing teams within global service delivery models
  • Excellent command of one working language (English, French, Spanish)
  • Working knowledge of a second working language of the Organization
  • Working knowledge of a third working language of the Organization is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of enterprise information and technology management, digital platforms, data governance and emerging technologies, including AI
  • Knowledge of relevant governance and service management frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ITIL or equivalent)
  • Experience governing large-scale integrated enterprise information systems (e.g. ERP platforms) and complex vendor ecosystems
  • Ability to translate organizational strategy into actionable digital and technology roadmaps and investment decisions
  • Leadership skills
  • Good knowledge of Informatics/Technology best-practices
  • Ability to lead and manage large and diverse teams and foster teamwork
  • Ability to manage and implement complex organizational processes
  • Ability to develop and drive strategic change, set priorities and ensure effective use of human and financial resources
  • Ability to develop results with integrity
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strategic planning skills and accountability in delivering results
  • Excellent communication, networking, public presentation skills and ability to transfer knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy
  • Resilience and ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and demonstrate gender-sensitive and non-discriminatory behaviour

  • Ensure reliable, secure, and cost-effective technology services
  • Oversee design of shared service delivery models
  • Adopt and scale artificial intelligence and emerging technologies
  • Establish enterprise-wide governance frameworks
  • Manage information, cybersecurity, and business continuity risks
  • Oversee enterprise architecture and technology roadmaps
  • Lead information and data management
  • Represent the Organization in UN system-wide forums
  • Build strong partnerships across the Organization
  • Perform other relevant duties
