Anforderungen
- Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline, or Bachelor's degree with extensive industry experience
- Strong expertise in software development and systems integration, ideally in industrial/laboratory automation
- Hands-on experience with Linux, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD
- Excellent knowledge of communication protocols (REST, OPC UA, MQTT, TCP/IP) and hardware interfaces (Ethernet, RS-232, Digital I/O)
- Experience with modular automation standards (MTP, SiLA2) or orchestration platforms is advantageous
- Quality-focused mindset and strong business acumen
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to emerging technologies
- Fluent English and very good German language skills

- Automate end-to-end laboratory workflows

- Coordinate implementation with laboratory stakeholders
- Enhance existing automation and software standards
- Establish new technical standards as needed
- Collaborate with instrument vendors and IT organizations
- Work with system integration partners
- Ensure reliable operation of automation components
- Manage lifecycle of software and automation systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot automation solutions
- Develop update strategies for continuous optimization
