- 8+ years architecting AI/foundation-model ML/AI solutions
- Designing distributed training systems for large models (cluster orchestration, parallelism, checkpointing, fault tolerance), ideally with federated training
- Foundation model fine-tuning (incl. RLHF/DPO/distillation), evaluation pipelines, and serving at scale
- Strong software engineering skills, proficiency in Python and another programming language
- Working knowledge of inference serving systems (e.g., vLLM) and serving trade-offs
- Translating business/research requirements into robust, scalable technical platform designs
- Collaborating effectively with product, consulting, customer teams, and stakeholders
- Strong communication and documentation skills for technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working in complex, evolving environments with multiple partners, technologies, and dependencies

- Drive technical architecture and design for AI stack
- Partner with lead Platform Architect on cross-cutting design
- Architect distributed and federated training infrastructure
- Design cluster orchestration and parallelism strategies
- Implement checkpointing and fault tolerance
- Ensure secure aggregation across customer data sites
- Design model lifecycle for fine-tuning and post-training
- Develop evaluation and benchmarking pipelines
- Create model registries
- Architect inference and serving for industrial scale
- Implement multi-tenant deployment and dynamic batching
- Design KV caching and quantization strategies
- Optimize latency and cost trade-offs
- Ensure secure handling of proprietary datasets
- Maintain policy compliance for data residency
- Coordinate with technical, product, and management stakeholders
- Align with overarching technical concepts and project vision
- Provide deep technical guidance on AI model training
- Support evaluation and serving processes
