- Proven experience in EO/meteorological satellite data processing
- Experience in IVV of data processing systems
- Proficiency in scripting languages and databases
- System engineering and design experience
- Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to produce accurate technical documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of IT, network, and computer security principles
- Knowledge of spacecraft/ground segment operations
- Familiarity with operational procedures and configuration data management
- Programming experience in C/C++, Java, or IDL
- Experience in quality control, calibration, and validation
- Knowledge of ECSS standards
- Experience with DOORS requirements management tool
- Knowledge of MBSE and tools
Aufgaben
- Investigate and fix application software anomalies
- Identify and resolve configuration issues
- Implement new software requirements
- Contribute to ARBs, SRBs, and CRBs
- Deploy and validate software and hardware
- Build and install new software releases
- Validate patches on development, reference, and operational chains
- Support mission payload data processing systems
- Conduct impact analysis for PDP and processor evolutions
- Set up and maintain Test Suite in ATE
- Maintain system models in Enterprise Architect
- Manage requirements in DOORS
- Contribute to technical baseline documentation
- Update Confluence procedures
- Provide cross-training to SGS Data Processing and System Applications Competence Area members
- Participate in facility, sub-system, and system-level reviews
- Attend milestone meetings and joint meetings with external partners
- Support other EUMETSAT teams as needed
