Anforderungen

  • •MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • •Strong expertise in computer vision, MLOps, and model deployment
  • •Experience designing and owning complex distributed systems and backend architectures
  • •3+ years of experience in leading engineering teams or tech strategy
  • •Hands-on ability to build prototypes quickly and evolve them into production systems
  • •Strong understanding of data infrastructures, integrations, APIs, and real-time pipelines
  • •Excellent communication skills and eagerness to co-own product and obsess over customer processes
  • •Entrepreneurial mindset and enjoyment of ambiguity
  • •Experience with geospatial systems, tracking algorithms, or sensor fusion
  • •Experience in logistics, manufacturing, robotics, mobility, or industrial automation
  • •Strong product instincts and ability to translate operational pain points into technical designs
  • •Experience with on-prem/edge deployments or privacy-sensitive environments
  • •Prior founding or early-stage startup experience

Aufgaben

  • •Define the technology strategy from 0 to 1
  • •Lead the development of a computer-vision-driven yard automation platform
  • •Design the core system architecture for a real-time yard intelligence platform
  • •Evaluate and implement computer vision pipelines for object detection and tracking
  • •Build reliable and scalable data infrastructure with event streams and geospatial models
  • •Develop and iterate models for tracking, recognition, and behavior prediction
  • •Set engineering best practices for CI/CD, testing, and data protection
  • •Build early prototypes for real-world industrial environments
  • •Hire and lead a cross-disciplinary engineering team
  • •Establish a culture of excellence and autonomy within the team
  • •Partner with the CEO for customer discovery and design partner engagements
  • •Drive the technical roadmap and translate customer workflows into product capabilities
  • •Ensure system robustness and safety for mission-critical operations
  • •Communicate effectively with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
