Anforderungen
- Degree in economics, law, finance, or related field with focus on taxation

- Solid experience in tax reconciliations and strong grasp of accounting fundamentals
- Curiosity and willingness to quickly take ownership of payroll tax and additional tax areas
- High level of accountability and execution power
- Pragmatic, well-organized, and confident communicator across teams
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Experience in designing and implementing tax compliance management systems
- Experience with Workday
Aufgaben
- Take full ownership of all German tax matters
- Serve as the main contact for tax-related questions
- Manage end-to-end VAT filings and annual tax returns
- Oversee payroll taxes and ongoing tax compliance
- Monitor deadlines and prepare tax balances
- Design and implement a scalable German Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS)
- Coordinate tax audits and reviews with authorities and external advisors
- Collaborate closely with Accounting, Controlling, Legal, and Audit teams
- Assess tax implications of international supply and value chain transactions
- Contribute to transfer pricing concepts and documentation
- Provide input into the group-wide tax strategy
- Lead special projects and ad-hoc tax analyses
- Optimize and automate tax and finance processes
- Establish tax setup and operations for Picnic’s growth market
- Execute operational tasks directly, rather than just coordinating
