- Experience preparing statutory accounts in Germany
- Experience with audits, internal controls, and legal entity governance
- Strong proficiency in MS Office
- Extensive experience with SAP R/3
- OneStream knowledge as a plus
- Fluent German and English
Aufgaben
- Prepare statutory financial statements under German GAAP
- Coordinate annual accounts and Bundesanzeiger filings
- Maintain compliant statutory books and documentation
- Manage monthly and annual IFRS close activities
- Prepare the annual IFRS reporting package
- Act as primary contact for external auditors
- Coordinate statutory audits and internal reviews
- Oversee local tax compliance and reporting
- Ensure compliance with chemical sector regulations
- Support transfer pricing and intercompany processes
- Own the internal control framework and SAP compliance
- Lead local risk assessments and ethics initiatives
- Oversee bank administration and payment controls
- Monitor working capital and treasury policy execution
- Support capital structure and legal entity governance
- Direct services provided by the Shared Service Center
- Monitor SLA performance and provide local guidance
- Represent the German site to internal stakeholders
- Present financial performance to site management
- Provide financial guidance to non-finance departments
