Anforderungen
- University degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Law, Commercial Management, or similar
- Strong experience in contract management in major projects
- Knowledge of contract administration, claims, change control, dispute avoidance, commercial governance
- Professional qualification or membership (RICS, CIOB, ICE, CICES, AACE, CIArb, or equivalent) preferred
- Formal training in FIDIC, NEC, claims, dispute resolution, construction law advantageous
- Ability to produce clear contractual advice, position papers, notices, executive summaries
- Commercially disciplined, detail-oriented, maintain records, registers, audit trails
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, dispute avoidance, problem-solving skills
- Fluent English essential
- German preferred

- Establish and administer the project contract management framework
- Protect APM Terminals’ contractual entitlements
- Control contractual obligations
- Provide structured contractual input into scope, schedule, cost, risk, and project decisions
- Advise other functions and managers using legal skills
- Advance the organization's commercial agenda
- Manage contractual activities across a complex capital project
- Establish and maintain the project contract management framework
- Support contracting strategies, packaging approaches, and procurement routes
- Clarify tenders and lead negotiations
- Review agreements, scopes, specifications, and schedules
- Identify contractual gaps and commercial risks
- Lead contract mobilization activities
- Ensure project teams understand contractual obligations and notice requirements
- Monitor contractor and consultant compliance with contractual conditions
- Manage variations, claims, and early warnings
- Coordinate technical, planning, and cost substantiation for contractual assessments
- Support payment applications and milestone payments
- Identify potential disputes and work on resolution strategies
- Maintain contract governance and reliable contractual records
- Lead contractual close-out activities
