Anforderungen
- Minimum 10 years construction management experience on major projects or heavy/industrial construction
- Demonstrated health and safety management focus in construction phase, extensive knowledge of procedures, safe work practices, and applicable legislation
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- Strong leadership, team motivation, and team environment fit
- Effective report writing, planning, organizational, and oral skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate directly with client on key issues
- Knowledge of EPCM model, activities, interfaces, and interdependencies of project disciplines
- Comprehensive knowledge and practical interpretation/application of good construction practice and industry standards
- Knowledge of furnace operations is advantageous

Aufgaben
- Plan and direct all construction or maintenance work
- Develop construction strategies and execution schedules
- Oversee organizational plans and detailed schedule implementation
- Ensure safe and environmentally acceptable construction methods
- Coordinate with clients and project management on reporting procedures
- Contribute to and review capital estimates, schedules, and designs
- Review construction drawings and specifications for constructability
- Develop strategies for erection interfaces and construction methods
- Identify and preempt potential problem areas
- Determine site organization and staffing requirements
- Direct and motivate subordinate construction specialists
- Establish pre-fabrication and modularization requirements
- Provide technical support to other site functions
- Liaise with project representatives for shutdowns and tie-ins
- Participate in labor studies and manpower sourcing
- Develop the industrial relations strategy
- Coordinate the preparation and issuance of the Construction Execution Plan
