Anforderungen
- Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Bioinformatics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years Linux system administration and/or cloud infrastructure (OpenStack or comparable) experience
- Solid understanding of IT security, network security, and access management
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 or comparable security frameworks (e.g., BSI IT-Grundschutz)
- Structured, independent working style with strong documentation habits
- Good English communication skills
- Experience operating OpenStack environments
- Prior involvement in ISMS implementation or certification projects
- Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience in research or academic IT environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor)
Aufgaben
- Install and configure de.NBI cloud infrastructure
- Maintain OpenStack-based environment
- Monitor system health and performance
- Respond to and resolve incidents
- Manage user access and resource quotas
- Handle service requests from research users
- Coordinate with central de.NBI cloud federation
- Collaborate with other de.NBI sites
- Plan and implement updates and patches
- Execute infrastructure improvements
- Maintain technical documentation and SOPs
- Act as primary Information Security Officer
- Maintain and improve ISMS according to ISO 27001
- Conduct and document risk assessments
- Perform threat analyses and security reviews
- Develop and update security policies
- Enforce security guidelines and procedures
- Prepare and support internal audits
- Support external audits
- Track and follow up on audit findings
- Raise security awareness through training
- Communicate security practices to staff and users
- Liaise with DKFZ’s central IT security team
- Engage with de.NBI security community
