Anforderungen
- Proficiency flying in day VFR conditions
- Minimum 1,000 hours total PIC time preferred; minimum 300 hours PIC on CH-47 required
- Satisfactory completion of proficiency check within 12 months
- Qualified in the CH-47
- High School Graduate or equivalent required
- U.S. military technical school or specialized training course desired
- Successful completion of Army or FAA Class II flight physical
- FAA Certificate, Rotorcraft, Commercial pilot required
- Instrument rating on FAA Commercial Certificates required
- Possession of or ability to pass FAA or Military Class 2 flight physical
- Successful completion of Army Maintenance Test Pilots Course (MTPC) or equivalency evaluation
- US ARMY AMOC (phase 1&2) complete and qualified
- In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations
- In-depth knowledge of US Army Maintenance procedures and regulations
- Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance, SECRET Clearance
- US Citizenship required for SECRET Clearance
- Interim SECRET approval required for deployment
- Valid US Passport required for deployment to Germany
- Ability to qualify for TESA approval (German Govt)
- 5 years career total Aviation maintenance experience, preferably in last 5 years
- Travel as required in support of task order
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Demonstrated proven and verifiable aviation experience
- Highest standards of ethics, ability, and professionalism required
- Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written
- Fluent in the English language
- Working knowledge of aircraft navigational equipment
- Working knowledge of aircraft communication equipment
- Capability to compute and annotate aircraft weight and balance logs
- Ability to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth
- Ability to see aircraft in flight
- Ability to read dials/gauges
- Ability to identify small objects and hand tools
- Physical capability to climb vertical ladders or built-in aircraft steps to heights of 10-12 feet
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds to a height of four feet
- Ability to lift to 20 pounds to a height of seven feet
Aufgaben
- Obtain detailed knowledge of AOR airspace operations
- Fly proficiently in day VFR conditions
- Perform routine acceptance tests of aircraft after corrective maintenance
- Ensure aircraft maintenance complies with manuals, directives, and readiness rates
- Successfully complete no-notice flight evaluations and exams
- Remain fully qualified in aircraft and perform as a crewmember
- Test aircraft to determine specification compliance and operational suitability
- Operate test aircraft and flight test support through prescribed tests
- Coordinate flight operations efforts
- Oversee maintenance operations, test fly, and troubleshoot
- Manage maintenance flow
- Perform other related duties as requested
