As a CAD Engineer in the Body Structures & Closures Team, you will design innovative 3D models for electric vehicle platforms, ensuring they meet all functional and aesthetic requirements while collaborating with various engineering teams.

Anforderungen

• •3+ years experience in automotive Body Structures or Closures systems development
• •Proficiency with CATIA V5/V6 or 3DX
• •Hands-on experience with PLM systems such as Teamcenter, ENOVIA or similar
• •Ability to apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in designs
• •Understanding of common manufacturing processes for Body Structures & Closures components
• •Good knowledge of fundamental engineering principles and materials
• •Experience in full life cycle development from concept to prototype to full production
• •Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent from ABET accredited institution or equivalent body structures automotive experience

Aufgaben

• •Create and modify 3D CAD models for body-in-white structures and closures
• •Ensure models meet packaging, styling, and functional requirements
• •Apply design standards and GD&T best practices
• •Manage interfaces between body structures and other systems
• •Incorporate manufacturing feasibility requirements at component and system level
• •Maintain version control and compliance with company standards
• •Participate in design reviews and provide technical input
• •Support engineering release and change management activities
