- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in complex software systems development
- Experience with distributed systems and system integration
- Hands-on experience with multithreading and concurrency
- Hands-on experience with asynchronous and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with containerized architectures (e.g., Docker-based environments)
- Hands-on experience with messaging systems (e.g., ZeroMQ, DDS, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with performance optimization and system tuning
- Expertise in software development on Linux platforms
- Solid understanding of networking protocols and communication mechanisms
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, and inter-process communication (IPC)
- Experience designing and working with REST APIs
- Knowledge of low-latency communication systems
- Experience with high-availability and fault-tolerant systems
- Understanding of real-time and deterministic system requirements
- Experience with sensor integration and multi-modal sensor fusion in event-driven systems
- Background in geospatial data systems (GIS/geoinformatics)
- Background in processing of time-series data
- Familiarity with military or NATO standards

- Architect and deliver C2 systems
- Integrate Walaris software into military and security systems
- Develop software to improve reliability and deployment
- Deliver complex features end-to-end
- Define and review subcontractor work packages
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ensure requirements integration from R&D, sales, and product management
