Anforderungen
- 4-6 years in controlling, accounting, corporate finance, transaction services, or finance role at growing software company
- Proficiency with DATEV and German chart of accounts; solid grasp of HGB accounting
- Experience with liquidity planning and accurate cash forecasting
- Comfortable with financial models: reading, stress-testing, assumption analysis
- Understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, churn) as an interconnected system
- Ability to communicate numbers for non-finance decision-making (written and verbal)
- Independent work in an environment with evolving processes; ability to build new processes
- Desire to eventually lead a team, with self-awareness of current readiness
- Fluent German and English
- Experience in travel tech or B2B SaaS with enterprise customers; exposure to audit, due diligence, or public funding
Aufgaben
- Collaborate with Accounting Manager on financial close
- Perform account reconciliation and clean-up in DATEV
- Conduct AR/AP reconciliation and manage accruals
- Handle liquidity planning and rolling cash forecasts
- Update weekly cash flow and manage payment runs
- Oversee receivables management
- Generate monthly financial reports and variance analysis
- Prepare C-level financial views
- Support budget planning and in-year forecasts
- Gather and consolidate budget inputs
- Test budget assumptions
- Create KPIs and shareholder reporting materials
- Manage public funding and compliance
- Prepare grant reports and documentation
- Advise Sales and Customer Delivery on deal economics
- Assess contribution margins and pricing
- Develop and document new processes and controls
- Take ownership of the forecast and planning model
- Lead the finance team
- Evolve finance function from reporting to steering
- Implement governance and approval processes
- Enhance forecast accuracy
- Serve as primary contact for shareholders, tax advisors, and auditors
