Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Professional qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CFA, RA)
- 3+ years finance/accounting experience, 1-2 years in controlling/managerial role
- Strong monthly closing and reporting experience in multi-entity/international environment
- Solid knowledge of IFRS/local GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Microsoft tools skills (Advanced Excel), automation tools, financial analysis skills
- German B2 language skills
- Mandarin language skills is a plus
- Occasional business travel may be required
Aufgaben
- Oversee daily accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory, intercompany)
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/local GAAP and company policies
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities
- Lead monthly financial closing process
- Post accruals, provisions, depreciation, inventory valuations, and reclassifications
- Convert German GAAP bookings to applicable standards and Group policies
- Complete month-end close within defined timelines
- Prepare monthly reporting packs and performance financial statements
- Analyze monthly results against budget and forecast, explaining variances
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts and intercompany balances
- Reconcile bank, AR/AP, inventory, and fixed asset accounts
- Ensure accurate and transparent financial data for management and Group
- Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting
- Monitor actual performance against budget/forecast, identifying corrective actions
- Partner with business and operational teams to improve cost control and profitability
- Provide financial insights for strategic and operational decisions
- Prepare and submit statutory financial statements
- Coordinate annual audits, acting as main contact for auditors
- Oversee tax reporting and compliance (VAT, CIT, withholding tax)
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess financial impact
- Lead and develop the accounting/finance team
- Set clear objectives and performance standards
- Improve financial processes, closing efficiency, and reporting quality
- Support ERP and system improvements (e.g., SAP)
- Drive automation and standardization of financial reporting
