Shaping behavior planning architecture for unmanned vehicles across diverse operational domains. Strong background in motion or behavior planning for robotic/autonomous systems required. Flexible working hours, remote work, and all-day breakfast.
Anforderungen
- Strong background in motion or behavior planning for robotic/autonomous systems
- Experience building/deploying robotics or autonomous systems in real-world environments
- Experience working across team boundaries, especially with perception and vehicle/robotics platforms
- Deep understanding of system behavior, failure modes, and safety in autonomous systems
- Ability to reason about architecture, trade-offs, and long-term evolution of planning systems
- Strong C++ skills with performance-critical and real-time systems experience
- Experience with learning-based planning, end-to-end networks, VLMs, or AI-driven behavior models
- Exposure to generative world models or desire to apply transformer architectures to planning
- Hands-on experience with real vehicles or robots in unstructured/off-road environments
- Familiarity with simulation, validation, and performance evaluation of planning systems
- Strong foundation in one area and proven hunger to master the other (foundation models/behavior planning)

- Design for diverse operational design domains
- Balance safety, performance, robustness, and scalability
- Integrate classical and AI-based planning methods
- Collaborate with perception and vehicle platform teams
- Ensure planned behavior is executable and explainable
- Define clear interfaces between perception, planning, and control
- Drive architectural decisions for long-term maintainability
- Evaluate and prototype AI-based planning solutions
- Productize AI-based planning solutions
