- Ability to extract and contextualize biological insights from OMICs data
- Hands-on experience with Orbitrap Astral mass spectrometers (plus)
- Hands-on experience with timsTOF mass spectrometers (plus)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Independent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Fluent English skills
Aufgaben
- Drive key scientific questions in drug discovery projects
- Provide critical insights for go/no-go decisions
- Advance understanding of targets and modalities
- Contribute to early R&D projects at various stages
- Tackle challenges in target discovery, evaluation, and lead optimization
- Design and implement novel approaches using mass spectrometry-based proteomics
- Address complex biology and hard-to-drug targets across therapeutic areas
- Interact closely with colleagues from Bayer Pharma R&D and external partners
- Utilize state-of-the-art quantitative proteomics technologies
- Analyze biological samples using global and targeted LC-MS/MS
- Extract and contextualize biological insights from large-scale OMICs datasets
- Use R or Python for data analysis
- Solve problems independently and work efficiently in a team
- Present results convincingly
- Contribute to the development of research strategies
