- Partner with the business on financial processes
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly financial processes
- Ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- Drive continuous improvement in financial operations
- Coordinate bookkeeping for Assurant Deutschland GmbH
- Manage transactions for Assurant Deutschland GmbH
- Oversee cost allocations for Assurant Deutschland GmbH
- Lead month-end close activities
- Prepare management financial reports
- Prepare statutory financial reports
- Prepare balance sheets
- Prepare P&L statements
- Support forecasting activities
- Support budgeting activities
- Support planning activities
- Maintain strong financial systems
- Maintain financial controls
- Maintain governance frameworks
- Support SOX compliance
- Support internal controls
- Prepare audit materials
- Support internal audit processes
- Support external audit processes
- Contribute to Solvency II calculations
- Contribute to actuarial calculations
- Contribute to annual financial statements
- Monitor liquidity
- Monitor investments
- Monitor balance sheet positions
- Support treasury management
- Prepare payments
- Review payments
- Ensure payment accuracy and timeliness
- Provide input to capital management
- Provide input to solvency management
- Partner with the European Tax team
