As an Applied AI Engineer, you will be at the forefront of building AI agents for automated decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design systems, develop APIs, and enhance agent performance through real-world data analysis.

Anforderungen

• •Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• •Strong engineering fundamentals
• •Curiosity about applying AI safely and effectively
• •Comfort with hands-on data understanding
• •At least 3 years of professional experience in software development
• •Hands-on experience with large language models using APIs
• •Experience with agent or orchestration frameworks
• •Experience with databases and a major cloud provider
• •Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation
• •Advanced degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• •Experience with DynamoDB, Postgres, Pydantic, AWS Lambda, SQLAlchemy
• •Experience building retrieval augmented generation pipelines
• •Experience with evaluation and monitoring of LLM systems

Aufgaben

• •Build and operate AI agents in production
• •Design, implement, and maintain agent-based systems in Python
• •Create and maintain evaluation datasets for real-world scenarios
• •Source and label samples with domain experts
• •Analyze datasets to identify failure modes and improve agent performance
• •Develop backend services using Python and FastAPI on AWS
• •Expose agents as reliable APIs and integrate with Taktile flows
• •Ensure correctness, observability, and performance of services
• •Contribute to internal libraries for agent development and deployment
• •Define processes for prompting, tool orchestration, and monitoring
• •Collaborate with product managers and data scientists on workflows
• •Participate in design reviews and technical deep dives
• •Deepen understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations
• •Experiment with new techniques and share insights with the team
