In this role, you will support the Air Freight Manager by managing carrier relations, driving new business through strategic pricing, and assisting with tender processes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with various teams to enhance procurement strategies and ensure effective communication.

Anforderungen

• •Ability to perform essential duties without posing a direct threat to health or safety
• •Positive and effective interaction with co-workers, subordinates, and supervisors
• •BA or BS Degree
• •Five or more years of experience in forwarder or shipping industry operations or procurement
• •Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• •Additional languages may be required

Aufgaben

• •Assist with carrier relations for Air Services
• •Support new business development through effective procurement
• •Provide strategic pricing and procurement solutions
• •Negotiate and manage trades with the Air Freight Manager
• •Assist with the tender management process
• •Document action items and timelines for trade management
• •Compile data into final responses for tenders
• •Create pricing and rate updates for commercial use
• •Participate in on-site carrier meetings as needed
• •Package and communicate the Air Services Procurement strategy
• •Contribute to the Air Services Procurement Process
• •Guide procurement colleagues during branch set-up
• •Ensure timely responses to all inquiries
• •Perform other duties as specified by management
• •Ensure adherence to company policies
• •May require some supervisory responsibilities
