- Strong experience staying current with latest AI research and translating advances into prototypes/systems
- Solid experience building or designing agentic systems (tool use, orchestration, memory, multi-step execution)
- Strong experience defining and implementing AI system evaluation, benchmarking, and testing
- Proficiency in modern AI engineering workflows (experimentation, model integration, system design, prototyping)
- Ability to operate across research and engineering with strong technical judgment and bias toward execution
- Strong product-oriented mindset and customer focus
- Experience with model training, fine-tuning, or applied data science (plus)
- Proven technology leadership skills
- Excellent team player with strong collaboration and communication skills

- Identify relevant AI advances for enterprise use
- Prototype and test new methods and architectures
- Design and build agentic AI systems
- Translate concepts into high-quality prototypes
- Mature prototypes toward product readiness
- Define rigorous evaluation and benchmarking methods
- Measure quality, reliability, and business usefulness
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product teams
- Refine ideas and validate value
- Prepare successful handover to product organizations
- Shape technical direction in fast-moving problem spaces
