Anforderungen
- Master's degree or equivalent in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, or related discipline
- German fluency and good working English knowledge
- Basic knowledge in chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques (e.g., IC, HPLC, GC-MS etc.)
- Experience in laboratory work, including sample preparation and handling of chemical substances
- More than basic experience level in Microsoft Excel©
- Experience with complex matrix analysis and/or fluorine chemistry and trace-level detection of fluorinated compounds is a plus
Aufgaben
- Support Analytical Operations Department
- Develop analytical methodologies for fluorinated compounds
- Implement detection methods for AOF, EOF, total fluorine, and fluoride
- Use Ion Chromatography (IC) for analysis
- Employ Combustion Ion Chromatography (C-IC) techniques
- Apply Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) when applicable
- Optimize and validate analytical methods
- Develop sample preparation strategies for complex matrices
- Work closely with skilled analytical team
- Gain hands-on experience in advanced techniques
- Receive direct project guidance
