Anforderungen
- Leadership experience in Group Accounting
- Successful university degree in business administration, advanced studies in international accounting, group accounting or auditing
- Experience in an Audit firm
- Broad understanding of consolidation and financial statement closing processes
- Excellent knowledge of consolidation systems, preferably OneStream
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS
- Ability to interact with various stakeholders and explain complex accounting issues
- International, intercultural open mindset
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop the team
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English
Aufgaben
- Manage and lead the Group Consolidation and Reporting team
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for Evotec Group
- Prepare quarterly and yearly external reports in accordance with IFRS
- Coordinate the process for IFRS Notes disclosures and Management Discussion & Analysis
- Ensure compliance with capital market regulations in Germany and the US
- Support subsidiaries with matters related to consolidated financial statements
- Oversee specific projects, such as implementing new IFRS standards
- Develop the consolidation tool further
- Assist in M&A transactions and post-merger integration
- Act as the main contact for auditors
