Anforderungen
- PhD in life sciences, biomedical sciences, bioengineering, pathology-related disciplines, or related field
- Hands-on laboratory experience
- Single and multiplex immunohistochemistry
- Single and multiplex in situ hybridization
- Interest in experimental method development and laboratory innovation
- Mastery of image analysis using software like Halo, Visiopharm
- Familiarity with image-based or single-cell data analysis
- Basic experience with Python and/or R for data exploration or analysis
- Comfortable working at the bench daily
- Curiosity, detail-orientation, and motivation by emerging technologies
- Collaborative and open to learning across interfaces
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland
Aufgaben
- Work as a tissue biomarker expert in clinical studies
- Develop tissue biomarker plans and assays
- Resolve issues related to tissue biomarker assessment
- Learn and contribute to biomarker implementation processes
- Collaborate with Pathology and Clinical Sciences (PCS)
- Contribute to technology innovation for human tissue protein assessment
- Build a strong foundation in translational medicine
- Participate in a progressive, blended learning experience
- Join a global network of peers and mentors
- Contribute to singleplex and multiplex tissue imaging
- Establish critical in-house capability in spatial data analysis
- Implement singleplex and multiplex immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence workflows
- Handle tissue preparation and staining
- Operate instruments and perform quality control
- Optimize internal laboratory workflows for tissue imaging
- Ensure biological and technical data quality
- Document and standardize laboratory procedures
- Conduct downstream image and spatial data analysis
- Perform cell segmentation and phenotypic annotation
- Visualize and interpret spatial analysis results
- Translate laboratory outputs into clear results for project teams
- Teach and mentor new fellows
- Gain broad exposure to translational biomarker science
- Develop technical independence and scientific rigor
- Enhance cross-functional collaboration skills
