- Understanding of search, information retrieval, or related domains
- Ph.D. in a related field (plus)
- Experience as Product Owner or Product Manager
- Experience in data-driven, ML-powered, or search-heavy products (ideal)
- Comfortable collaborating with data scientists and engineers
- Ability to translate technical topics into product decisions
- Understanding of experimentation, metrics, and business impact
- Structured, communicative, and confident personality
- Skills in prioritization and stakeholder management
- Ability to enable teams and align perspectives
- Drive for clarity in complex problem spaces
Aufgaben
- Own and communicate the search domain's product vision
- Align product strategy with company objectives and customer needs
- Translate strategic goals into a prioritized roadmap and backlog
- Write outcome-oriented product requirements and user stories
- Define clear acceptance criteria for search-related initiatives
- Refine the backlog based on experimentation and technical constraints
- Track success metrics for search relevance and conversion
- Lead product discovery activities and A/B testing
- Coordinate stakeholders across engineering, data science, and UX
- Balance short-term improvements with long-term technical investments
- Support agile ceremonies by clarifying priorities and removing ambiguity
- Ensure technical innovation serves user and business value
