You will drive the technical evolution of serverless peer-to-peer applications, bridging the gap between core ecosystem developments and engineering teams to deliver high-performance UX.

Anforderungen

• •Production experience with React Native or Electron
• •Background in modular codebases and npm modules
• •5+ years professional software engineering experience
• •Leadership of development teams and stakeholder coordination
• •Experience with mobile, browser, or desktop stores
• •Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
• •Experience building local-first applications
• •Experience with local-first data technologies
• •Familiarity with cross-platform packaging and deployment
• •Familiarity with encryption and secure storage
• •Grasp of asynchronous programming and networking
• •Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and open-source
• •Excellent communication skills

Aufgaben

• •Define the technical direction and architecture
• •Lead development of peer-to-peer desktop and mobile applications
• •Act as the primary liaison with Holepunch engineers
• •Translate upstream developments into actionable work
• •Design performant cross-platform UX for collaborative tools
• •Integrate and extend the Pear Runtime and Holepunch stack
• •Ship features rapidly and participate in code reviews
• •Write tests and optimize application performance
• •Support external partners and the open-source community
• •Contribute improvements to underlying open-source modules
• •Lead knowledge-sharing sessions across engineering teams
• •Translate product requirements into modular technical plans
• •Coordinate internal and external documentation and training
• •Consolidate and relay technical feedback to Holepunch
• •Guide and mentor various engineering teams
