Anforderungen

  • 4–6 years relevant experience in inbound transport, import operations, or supply chain/logistics management
  • Proven team leadership and people management experience
  • Strong understanding of material flows, import processes, and transport channel management
  • Solid knowledge of import/export regulations and customs compliance
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders across logistics, operations, and external service providers
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities

Aufgaben

  • Lead and manage inbound transport and import team
  • Achieve operational KPIs and process efficiency targets
  • Oversee transport planning and import operations
  • Manage freight forwarders, transport providers, and customs brokers
  • Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Maintain stable, compliant, and cost-effective operations
  • Monitor operational performance through KPIs
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, and process excellence
  • Provide performance reports and risk assessments
  • Develop and implement improvement plans
  • Authorize invoices for freight forwarding and customs brokerage
  • Train and coach Inbound Transport & Import personnel
  • Conduct regular team meetings
  • Support stakeholder communication across departments
